Yard waste such as leaves, weeds, thatch, flowers, vines and other non-fruit vegetable matter from cannot be collected and disposed of with household refuse.  Yard waste can be disposed of in several ways.

Unfortunately there are consequences if a property owner fails to clean up their property.  The following is a list of common violations and their respective fines.

The City of West Allis Department of Public Works sells refuse carts to residential properties of three living units or less.


 

Is your home in need of health and safety repairs?  As a West Allis resident, you may be qualified for assistance through the City’s Homeowner Rehabilitation Program.
